PRIMARY WINGS (GRADE: I TO V)
The Curriculum of SHS is designed in collaboration with the syllabus of University of Cambridge International Examinations (YLE Examinations) and CISCE to mould the learners to think critically and respond sensibly.
Young Learners English Tests (YLE), is a suite of English Language Tests specially designed for children in Primary and Lower-Secondary School. The tests are provided by Cambridge English Language Assessment.
The suite includes three qualifications and each test is targeted at a different level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
1. STARTERS (YLE Starters) is targeted at Pre-A1 Level (Grade III)
2. MOVERS (YLE Movers) at CEFR Level A1 (Grade IV)
3. FLYERS (YLE Flyers) at CEFR Level A2 (Grade V)
The curriculum is largely, an activity based teaching-learning process beyond textbooks. English syllabus consists of English Language and Literature with critical thinking on all the subjects. Educational Trips, Club Activities, Book Fairs, Competitions, Seminars, various Competitive Examinations, Language/ Computer/ Mathematics Lab Activities and Computer Education are incorporated as the part of the syllabus from Grade I.
MIDDLE, SECONDARY & HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL WINGS (GRADE: VI TO XII)
The syllabus followed in Grades IX to XII is based on the syllabus designed and developed by The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The curriculum includes English as the first language; whereas Punjabi, Mathematics, History & Civics, Geography, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Computer Applications as compulsory subjects.

A2 to B2 Tests of Cambridge English are the part of a suite of English Language Tests specially designed for Young/ School-Aged Learners. Four Level of Tests are conducted in our school. They are:
1. KET- Key English Test at CEFR Level A2 (Grades – VI & VII)2. PET- Preliminary English Test at CEFR Level B1 (Grades – VIII & IX)
3. FCE- First Certificate in English at CEFR Level B2 (Grades – X, XI & XII)
4. CAE- Certificate in Advanced English at CEFR Level C1 (Grades – X, XI & XII)
