GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS

  • Be regular and punctual.
  • Maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible for examinations.
  • It is mandatory to wear the prescribed school uniform as per the day/season.
  • Always maintain cleanliness, neatness and proper personal appearance.
  • English is the campus language. Speak only in English to encourage effective communication skills.
  • Boys must either have a proper haircut, if don’t have a turban.
  • Girls with long hair must come with two neatly tied plaits.
  • Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets strictly prohibited.
  • Do not carry costly ornaments, jewellery, makeup and inappropriate accessories in school.
  • Behave politely, maintain proper decorum and etiquette, and show respect to teachers, peers and staff.
  • Bullying, misbehaviour, cheating, vandalism, damage to school or others’ property may lead to suspension or dismissal.
  • Projects and SUPW assignments must be completed sincerely, as grades are awarded in X and XII certificates based on performance.
  • Maintain discipline and silence in classrooms and follow instructions given by teachers and class monitors.
  • Leave application must be submitted on the very next day duly signed by parents with valid reasons in case of taking leave.
  • It is responsibility of students to wrap up the incomplete academic works.
  • No exit from the class without any permission.

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

  • Parents are not allowed to visit classrooms and to take out students during the class hours without the permission of the Principal.
  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities to maintain discipline and inculcate good social and moral values in the children.
  • Parents must ensure to provide the correct personal details in the school especially the contact number in case the school authorities need to contact you during any unforeseen circumstances. The details can always be corrected and updated in the administrative department.
  • Parents must regularly glance through the diary, notebooks and exam answer sheets of their child.
  • Parents must check their ward's diary daily and sign the remarks, if any and take necessary action.
  • Parents must ensure that their ward, balance their interest towards curricular and co-curricular activities.
  • Attend the PTMs of your child regularly. Whenever parents attend PTMs or school functions along with their ward, the children must wear school uniform.
  • As the medium of instructions in the school is English, a certain amount of regular conversation in English at home, will always help your ward to gain language efficiency.
  • Parents are advised not to allow their ward to bring any expensive articles or smart watches those are not required for daily use in the school. In case lost or stolen in the school premises, the school cannot be held responsible.
  • We do not recommend private tuitions. If the child's studies performance is not satisfactory, parents should contact the Teachers and Principal for guidance.
  • Mobile phones and electronic equipment of any kind brought to the school will be confiscated.
  • Plan your children's leaves/vacation according to the school annual calendar so that it does not interfere with your ward studies.
  • Inform the teachers of your ward, about the unplanned leaves in a written application with a valid reason.
  • An unauthorized person should not be permitted to collect any child during school hours without an authorization letter from the parent.
  • Five days of continuous absence can only be regularised on submission of a medical certificate.
  • Pass percentage is 33% for all subjects for Grade VI to X. It is 35% for XI & XII.

*** Kindly wear the Dark green sweater and Dark green blazer as prescribed by the school.

LIBRARY:- RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE MEMBERS

Library Hours

 Working days -: Monday to Saturday.

 Issue and Return (During Summer Season) -: 8:30 am to 2:30 pm

 Issue and Return (During Winter Season) -: 9:30 am to 3:15 pm

Entitlement for Issued Books

 Teachers:- 8 Books (One Month/ Full Semester)

 Other Staff :- 04 Books (One Month)

 Students of Grade IX – XII :- 02 Books (Fifteen Days)

 Students of Grade VI – VIII :- 01 Book (Seven Days)

RULES AND REGULATIONS TO BE FOLLOWED IN THE LIBRARY

 Students must have a pass to enter into the Library.

 Handle all the Library materials and books with care.

 Students are not supposed to damage/tear pages/write on the books borrowed.

 Leave the Library Hall in intact condition.

 Keep all the materials back to its place when the students leave the Library

 Eatables are not allowed in the Library.

CIRCULATION POLICIES

 The member is responsible for the books borrowed on his/her card.

 The members have to produce his / her card at the time of borrowing.

 Return or renew the borrowed books on time.

 Books may be renewed only if they are brought to the library.

 The librarian is empowered to recall books at any, if it is necessary.

 In case the membership book is lost, duplicate Pass Book will be issued on payment of Rs 50/- to continue the membership.

 Reference books are allowed to use only in the library.

 Issue of books may be refused to the defaulters.

OVERDUE MATERIALS

 Return overdue books as soon as possible so that others can make use of it.

 Students with an overdue may not be allowed to borrow further until the book is returned.

 A fine of Rs: 2 per day will be levied for late return.

 A Reminder will be issued to the student if his/her book is overdue for a month.

 Books overdue by three months are considered lost and require immediate payment (decided by the librarian according to the current value of the book.)

LOST MATERIALS

 For any lost book, the amount fixed by the librarian is expected to be deposited.

 Student who damages a book/ library material is expected to pay the cost of the book/ material.
